The Personal interview here you cannot take any chance as everything completely depends on how you perform in the interview i.e., the way you answer your questions and as fresher, you are prone to do some mistakes in your first job interview. So here are some common interview questions and their answers to help you prepare for your job interview.

Q1. Tell us something about yourself?


Never answer this question by telling the interviewer your favourite dish, actor or sports team

The interviewers intent behind asking this question to you is to know how confident you are and how you present yourself you should tell the interviewer something that shows your experience in the field i.e., internship, education and family background. And in answering this question you must share your strengths and try to build up the discussion about how suitable you are for the job opening.


Sample answer (example):- Hi I am Santosh and I am from Mumbai I did my b.com

I have 6 months of experience in the field of accounting and bookkeeping because of the internships I did during college. 



Q2. what are your key strengths?


This is another most asked fresher interview questions the interviewer ask this question to know how much suitable you are for the job role and understand the challenges you might face in the daily tasks of the job. So the best idea is to share strengths that are in relation to your job. 


Sample answer (example):- “sir’ my key strengths is that I am a quick learner, for example, I had to represent my college In an inter-college art exhibition, and I was introduced to the team at the last minute. But still, I understood our exhibition and artefacts and was able to present them with great success”.


Q3. what are your weaknesses?


It becomes very intimidating when you have to share your weaknesses, that too with your hiring manager one thing is sure you must never say that you don’t have any weakness it makes you look overconfident but then you can share a weakness that does not impact your current job role. 


Sample answer (example):- Sir I am afraid of heights. 


Always elaborate on your strengths and weakness with some quick examples.

Q4.What are your hobbies?


In your fresher interview questions, you are most probably going to be asked to answer the question of what are your hobbies? By asking about your hobbies employer tries to have a glimpse at your personality your energy level and how suitable are you for the job, therefore, share something that adds value to your skillset.


Sample answer (example):- sharing some cliche hobbies such as reading and sports can say a lot about your activeness. Frame your personal answer on the basis of the above information.


Q5. Why should we hire you?

As a fresher, you are not an expert in any specific domain. So the question is asked to know what quality of yours will be more helpful for the company. Your knowledge about the company and what quality of yours suits the organization is the key to answer this question.

Or answering with some generic qualities like quick learning, flexibility, team player etc are some common qualities that will suit any firms needs.


Sample answer (example):- Although being a fresher “I have had some internship and the industry exposer so it will still be easy for me to adapt to the new work environment which will drastically lessen my training cost.”
